I haven't posted for awhile. Although shelter in place has given me much more time to paint, I haven't been able to work much, perhaps because of my anxiety level. I've been in the studio the last couple of days and did three new paintings. This one is 11" x 22" acrylic on paper with a pumice ground for texture. ⁠

In the central area I laid down a bright yellow orange and after it dried I painted over it with a dark green. Then I scratched out some marks while it was still wet and then dry brushed a slightly lighter green in the spaces between the scratches. I did this once and then painted over it but Becky said she liked it so I put it back in. Always follow Becky's suggestions. ⁠
